Out of all the smoothies, this one is probably going to be the most daring (for me, anyway) and healthy. Only 4 ingredients with a little help from some juicy friends hehe.
The stars of this smoothie are ginger, kale, and turmeric. Enough said. I won't list all its medicinal properties, vitamins, minerals...because there are TONS. Just ask Google :D
Andrea's Green Tonic
- 1 large handful kale
- 1/8th teaspoon minced ginger
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
- 1 cup orange juice
- In a blend, blend kale, ginger, and honey first.
- Add crushed ice and juice and blend until desired consistency.
