Our best piped frosting attempt (kinda hard to do with whipped cream hehe)So recently, my sister decided to purchase one of those adorable mini cupcake makers. The brand in particular, babycakes. I personally quite enjoy baking the old fashioned way from scratch, but when she brought it over it totally reminded me of being a kid again. It comes in two colors, yellow and pink and includes a pastry cutting tool, crust forming tool, heavy-duty piping bag, 4 stainless steel decorating tips, coupler, recipe book and owner's manual.
Overall, it was very fun and a perfect, less messy activity to enjoy with the kids. It gets really hot though, so you might not want to let the kids operate it directly, but it's very effective for those who currently don't have a working oven (guilty!), are not really into baking or who are short on time.
The price ranges in the $30 area. Great gift idea for the holidays!
Let's face it, who doesn't like cupcakes??
