After a night filled with gluttonous, sweet, candy joy, what a way to counter balance that by following it up with healthy eating and trying new new things! Today is World Vegan Day and I will be participating by not eating meat for all of November 1st . Many vegans are actually encouraging those who are interested to extend their participation for more than just a day. I will try to do it weekly and go from there!
Vegan recipes to follow! :) If anyone knows anything about vegan-ism please feel free to share!

Update 11/02/10: I've decided that being vegan is a little too intense for me, BUT I will continue to participate by not eating meat. So I'll still be drinking milk and eating eggs. The correct term for this is Lacto-Ovo Vegetarianism. It'll still allow me to get my feet wet, but I won't feel too overwhelmed. We'll see how it goes! //Andrea
