Simon once predicted that Carrie Underwood would not only win American Idol season 4, but that she'd sell the most records. Just this November, she surpassed Kelly Clarkson by 600,000+ units making that prediction a reality. He also predicted that Adam Lambert would become an international star. He's well on his way. Let's face it. Simon Cowell is a prophet. An Idol prophet?? hahaha This season, he's done it again. Simon predicted Larry Platt's original composition titled "Pants on the Ground" would become a hit....wait correction, he FEARED that it would become a hit. Then again, we all saw this coming. There's one in every season. William Hung, Bikini Girl, the "I Am Your Brother" guy, etc. I'm sure there are more. I just can't think of them at the moment haha.
Hope General Larry Platt can make a few extra dollars from this. He didn't make it to Hollywood (he was obviously over the age limit of 28), but I had fun watching him.
