PB&Banana Bread

Print Friendly and PDFPrint Friendly
Do you like bananas?....peanut butter??....how bout bread??

If you answered YES to all the above then this recipe is for youuuuu!!!!

I'm sure there are tons of recipes for this crawling the interwebs somewhere haha this is just my version of it :)

- 1 stick of butter melted
- 2 or 3 over- ripe bananas
- 1 egg
- 3 tsp vegatable oil
- 1/4 C peanut butter semi-melted
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 C flour
- ½ C sugar
- ½ C medium brown sugar (or 1 C plain white sugar)
- 1 pinch of salt

Smash bananas then mix in all the other wet ingredients plus spices and sugar. Then, slowly fold in flour until batter is formed

Bake (preferrably) in a loaf pan for an hour or until toothpick comes out clean

Sidenote: You can eat this straight out of the oven, but I discovered that if you wrap it up in foil or plastic wrap and let it sit overnight or for a few hours before serving, it becomes extra moist and the flavors will  have had the time to sit and get yummy :)

ENJOY!!
