'Nuff said..
Chocolate Cupcakes adapted from Kandee Johnson's (my favorite makeup artist!) chocolate cupcake recipe
- 2 C flour
- 2 C sugar
- 3/4 C cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 C boiling water
- 3/4 C milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 handfuls of crushed chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
Boil water, transfer into separate mixing bowl and add sugar until sugar is dissolved. Set aside until cooled.
Whisk dry ingredients in another bowl, then whisk in eggs (one at a time), add sugar mixture and the rest of the wet ingredients.
Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full and bake for 20-22 minutes (do toothpick test to make sure!)

Vanilla Cheesecake Frosting
- 4 tbsp butter softened
- 6 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 C powdered sugar
Cream butter and cream cheese. Slowly beat in powdered sugar.
Just combine all the ingredients depending on which frosting you like until creamy and slather onto your cupcakes! You can use a piper or just do it the old fashioned way like I did and use a butter knife haha.
ENJOY!
