For those who were interested in the recipe, here it is! :)
- 1 1/4 C all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cold butter cubed
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 C milk (or water is fine)
- optional: 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 can cream of chicken
- 1 can creamy corn chowder
- 1 lb of boneless chicken breasts
- 2 C of your favorite vegetables sliced
To make creamy chicken: Combine cream of chicken and corn chowder into casserole dish along with carrots and celery, or whatever vegetables you'd like to add.
Chop up chicken into slivers. Sear or grill on both sides until slightly brown (don't cook it all the way through or else chicken will become dry). Add to creamy chicken mixture.
To make biscuits: Sift together all the dry ingredients. Add cold butter and mash in with a fork until crumbly and butter is well dispersed. Slowly add milk/water until thickish batter is formed.
Much like you would a cobbler, form batter into balls of desired size and lay in rows on top of the creamy chicken mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
ENJOY!! Try it at home and let me know what you think!!
