One of my all-time favorite desserts
especially during the fall is the peach cobbler!! Of course, peaches
are best to use during the summer when they're in season but ehh who
cares? lol I make these all year round because it's so good, my family
really enjoys them and I'm sure you will too! :)
Have a wonderful weekend & stay warm!!
If you'd like to try this recipe (and I hope that you do!),
Cobbler Crust
- 2 C all-purpose flour
- 1 stick butter cubed and chilled
- 2/3 C brown sugar
- 2/3 C granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- approx. 1 C hot water
Peach Filling
- 10 fresh peaches sliced into wedges
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 C butter melted
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In your baking dish, combine peach filling ingredients, then bake for 5 minutes or until mixture is bubbly and sugar has carmelized. Take out and set aside to let cool
In a food processor, pulse dry crust ingredients including butter until mixture resembles course sand. Slowly add hot water in tablespoons until thick paste forms (you may not need to use the whole cup of water).
Using your hands place large clumps over filling evenly. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until crust has risen and is golden brown.
Serve alone or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Enjoy!
